In 20 years, the world’s population will reach 10 billion, 20% of the world’s population will be disabled, and 2/3 - over 60 years old. The economy will have to work for the interests of the elderly and people with disabilities. Including you and me. It is in our interests to invest in the future right now by developing high-tech assistive technologies, which we will use to improve our functionality. At the session “Have compassion or invest in the future,” we will discuss how to use assistive technologies to return a person “to the system,” prolong their active age and quality of life, what the state, business and startups do to develop technologies, and the legislation in the field of rehabilitation and inclusion.
